Sonic blue tends to look lighter and a little more pale than daphne blue which typically has a brighter and more saturated tone of baby blue.

A lot of sites confuse surf green for seafoam green.
It now has a warmoth surf green jazzmaster body and fralin vintage hots.

Some people say it proves the top is a real piece of wood and not a veneer others say it s a tacky gimmick.

I picked up a used like new 62 avri that had a label on the case saying it was seafoam green when checking out fenders color chart numbering system it was actually surf green according the original hang tag on the guitar.
Seafoam green seems to be a little darker with a little more blue to the hue almost more of a turquoise whereas surf green is a little lighter and more minty in hue.

My recommendation would be subtract the yellow from them and go with daphne blue.
It would match my timmy.
Many people including sales constantly get the two colors mixed up.
So is there a definitive source like a fender collectors site where the colors are clearly shown and named.
